Gaolin(Harry) Ge

I am an undergraduate senior in Mechanical Engineering specializing in Mechatronics at the University of Washington, Seattle. Currently, I conduct research at the the Wearable Intelligence Lab, the Programmable Matter Lab, and the Boeing Advanced Research Center (BARC), where I explore innovative technologies at the intersection of mechanical engineering and human-computer interaction.
My research focuses on developing novel interactive systems that seamlessly combine mechanical design with HCI principles. Specifically, I am interested in soft robotics, morphing structures, swarm robotics, and wearable devices. My goal is to create technologies that not only respond intuitively to human interactions but also foster sustainable, adaptable, and intelligent solutions for real-world applications.
